I thank the Almighty God for this opportunity to serve Bahati Boys Senior School as the Principal and team leader of the school.

At Bahati Boys Senior School, we emphasize offering quality education to our learners. We have divided our learners into small groups that we refer to as families, with a teacher assigned to each group. The teacher acts as a father or mother figure and offers guidance and counselling, motivation, sets academic targets, and provides discipline to the group.

We ensure syllabus coverage for Form 4 is completed by June, giving us adequate time for revision, while for Form 3, syllabus coverage is completed by September of each year. This method has contributed to good performance in KCSE in previous years.

As we transit to CBE, I would like to assure all parents that we are focused and ready. We offer two pathways: Social Sciences and STEM.

Discipline is our rock, without which education is rendered valueless. We highly value the virtues of humility, respect, obedience, tolerance, sacrifice, and courtesy. When these values are inculcated at a young age, boys become gentlemen, and thus we can build a reliable generation.

I value the importance of co-curricular activities. They enable students to acquire skills in multitasking, teamwork, physical health, and mental coordination. We do well in football and basketball, and we take our teams all the way to the County level.

We have well-equipped Computer and Science Laboratories because we believe in training students in actual scientific skills and knowledge, particularly as we enter the era of CBE. We strive towards bringing up a generation that will make a great contribution to the fields of science and technology—a generation that will bring enormous innovations and contribute towards eradicating incurable diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Ebola, and cancer.

When you enter BBH, the first building you see is a Chapel. This shows that we value spirituality and high moral standards and values. It is a great honour to serve this institution, and I have confidence that we offer the best for the male child to propel him in the field of academics.

As the Principal, on behalf of all teachers, I would like to promise that we shall leave no stone unturned in ensuring that our mean score continues to improve.
